This SAWA Pumpentechnik AG side-channel pump model HDP88, has been selected to handle ultra-pure water for injection for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
The pump is manufactured from 1.4435 stainless steel, is electropolished, and has a surface roughness of less than 0.4 um. These attributes make it perfect for corrosion-free, hygienic transfer of water used in the manufacture of injectable drugs.
These pumps offer many benefits for use in sanitary applications, not least the fact that they can be sterilised in place (SIP) at 137C when stopped.
