Overview
Hydra-Cell T & Q Series pumps feature multiple diaphragms to minimize pulsations, offering virtually pulse-free operation and eliminating the need for expensive pulsation dampeners. With a simple design, the Hydra-Cell T&Q Series are durable pumps capable of handling fluids that can destroy other pumps. They are highly efficient, heavy-duty pumps for liquid transfer, metering and dosing, injection and spraying of a wide range of non-lubricating and abrasive liquids such as ammonia, polymers, glycols, acids, inks, resins or slurries.
T&Q Series pumps have a hermetically sealed pumping chamber and hydraulically-balanced diaphragm design, enabling the pumps to provide leak-free, low-maintenance performance over a wide range of pressures and flows. The T-Series has triplex diaphragms with three models for low pressure (103-145 bar) applications, two for medium pressure (207-241 bar) applications and one, the T100S for high pressure with a maximum discharge pressure of 345 bar. The Q-Series, with quintuplex diaphragms, offers higher pumping capacities for low and medium pressure applications.
Plungers do not come in contact with the process liquid but are permanently immersed in lubricating crank oil. The seal-less design means that the pumped liquid and crank oil are completely separated eliminating the danger of cross-contamination and extending the periods between oil changes.
The T & Q pumps have low NPSH requirements and so positive suction pressure is not necessary. A patented diaphragm protection system keeps the diaphragm safe under vacuum conditions. The pumps can also be run dry indefinitely without damage and can handle abrasives and particulates up to 800 microns.
All pumps in the range uses the same power frame. The T&Q series share over 80% of the same components, including diaphragms and plungers, standardising pump operation and maintenance. The compact design and double-ended shaft provide a variety of installation options.
